Meet the Team

At Wild Oak Explorers, our staff are more than teachers—they are Guides, mentors, observers, and partners in discovery.

Our Guides come from diverse backgrounds in education, wellness, art, movement, nature-based learning, and working with neurodivergent children. Each brings their own gifts and interests into our community while sharing a common belief: children are capable, curious, and deserving of the time and space to discover who they are.

Rather than directing every moment of the day, our Guides observe, ask thoughtful questions, offer invitations to explore, and know when to step back. They build relationships first, support children through challenges, encourage appropriate risk-taking, and help create an environment where play, creativity, curiosity, and connection can flourish.

Most importantly, our Guides genuinely enjoy being alongside children—getting muddy, wondering together, listening to their ideas, and seeing where the day takes us.

At Wild Oak, we don't just teach children. We learn alongside them.

All of our guides have completed a level 2 background check, first-aid and CPR certified.
